I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor with 12 years of experience in the field of counseling. I hold a Master of Education in Counselor Education from The University of Maine. I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy and integrative approaches to mental health.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse settings across all age groups including private practice, community mental health centers, home-based and long-term care, as well as K-12 schools.
I provide individual counseling services to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, low self-esteem, education and career challenges, life changes, and adjustment concerns.
I utilize an approach that is client-centered and strengths-based, emphasizing collaboration and empowerment, while fostering the innate capacity for growth and healing. Through cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapies, my clients have consistently shown significant positive mental health outcomes. I perceptively work with clients to gradually guide them to positive outcomes at a speed individually tailored to each client. I am also attentive to the current and long-term needs of my clients in each therapy session.
I have been described by my clients and peers as warm-hearted, exceptionally caring, patient, gentle, and supportive.
I am honored that you have taken the time to consider me as your counselor and look forward to helping you!
